Arvato Financial Solutions is a global financial service provider and part of Bertelsmann SE & Co. KGaA as a subsidiary of Arvato. In Denmark we have two legal entities with 50 employees as a part of Collection and Financial Services I Norway and Denmark with offices in 4 cities (Copenhagen, Oslo, Sandefjord and Rørvik). We offer a large range of financial services from invoice administration and purchase to debt collection.

As our current Financial Controller has accepted a new role in the company, we are now looking for her successor. As Financial Controller in Denmark you will work closely with the Finance team within the business unit as well as the Finance team within B2C Finance & Nordic Collection.

The role reports to the Director Financial Control in Collection and Financial Services I Norway and Denmark, located in Oslo.

The position will be located in Copenhagen with some travelling to be expected.


  • Overall Responsible for the two Danish entities (Arvato Finance A/S and Gothia A/S)
  • Monthly- quarterly- and yearly closing procedures
  • Monthly, quarterly- and yearly financial reporting
  • Budgeting and forecast, as well as steer and control budgets
  • Controlling and analysis of cost and profitability
  • Prepare for annual reports and assist auditors
  • VAT and taxes
  • Daily tasks in handling invoices and the he contact with the Shared Service Center in Varberg
  • Part of the Financial Team in the business unit Norway and Denmark as a strong partner to the Director Financial Control
  • Support with ad-hoc reporting and analysis


  • 5+ years’ experience within Finance, preferably within auditing and/or financial controlling and reporting
  • A degree in finance, auditing or similar
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting, budgeting, planning and audit
  • Experience with SAP (preferable SAP FC and SAP JP5) and BI systems
  • Excellent Excel and PowerPoint skills
  • Fluency in both verbal and written Danish and English, understanding of spoken Norwegian and Swedish
